Birthing Services—Class Information

Designed for expectant parents who are in the process of choosing their birth facility or for those who have already chosen CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital.

Childbirth Preparation Course

This 5 week class helps prepare future parents for the birth of a child, giving valuable information about your birthing experience at CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital. The class will have guest speakers and provide helpful techniques and comfort measures to make your birthing experience a wonderful event. Call (281) 599-4343 to register.

Sibling Class

This class addresses the child’s role as the big brother/big sister and how they can help. The class helps the child understand how special it is to become the older brother or sister. The instructor will discuss their role as the older sibling, what to expect once the new baby arrives and how they can help. The children will watch a video and by the end of the class the child will have earned a certificate and receive a big brother/big sister t-shirt and coloring book. Don’t forget your camera!
